As of today Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is going to be FREE for everybody to play across all platforms until 22nd March.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the latest released title in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and features a huge open world map set in Ancient Greece. For the duration of the free weekend all versions of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will also be on sale so if you like the game you can grab it forever at a discounted price!

For some reason the Steam Version of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is not listed on the Ubisoft site that we linked above but it is most definitely free there too.
