Randomly generated roguelike dungeon crawler with a huge amount of secrets and randomly generated items, very challenging and a huge amount of replayablilty.
The Binding of Isaac is most likely the best roguelike dungeon crawler out there except maybe its younger sibling The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. You start out playing the game as Isaac and each time you play the whole dungeon is randomly generated as are the items. Sometimes you will find a treasure room immediately next to you, sometimes you will find it at the furthest point from you, maybe it has a useful item in there or maybe it is a trick and contains a powerful enemy. Every single game is completely different from the last, your item pool will start out small and increase slowly over time depending on what you do or which bosses you kill in each game so technically the more you play the larger the randomness becomes.
The games artstyle is graphically pleasing and the music is very powerful and fits perfectly to the mood of the game or the type of rooms you are in. There are multiple unlockable characters, hundreds of unlockable items, lots of secrets in the game and various challenge modes to try out. This is a highly recommended game from me and from the Overwhelmingly Positive overall review score on the Store page I think it is a solid choice of game for almost anyone.
